The Law Is Life

God is LAW. Law is the sustenance for order. God is ORDER. All there is in heavens are in accordance to Law and Order of God. The movement of the people towards God must be in Order, according to Law. When God is obeyed, orderliness is maintained. When God is disobeyed, chaos, trouble and disasters make their appearance. Man’s movement with God was first in order, in the Garden of Eden, according to Law. After the fall of Man, lawlessness and all disorderliness made its entrance. The effort in the salvation of man, from the days of Noah, till the first coming of the Lord, is to restore Man to God in order, according to law.

We begin this present era in the wilderness near the Mount Sinai, where God approaches Man, seeking to restore Mankind to Order and communion with Himself. First, God gave Moses a bunch of Laws. The Israelites could not keep these Laws, and they fell out of favor with God. After about Two Thousand Years of debacle with these Laws, The LORD came to show Man how to Live by these Laws. The Lord said: “think not that I am come to destroy the LAW or the Prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.” The Lord has not abolished the Laws, Statues and Ordinances in His Holy Scriptures. When He came, He showed us how to live by the Laws.

The Lord fulfilled the Laws and the Prophets, because He as well as all Mankind is bound by the same Laws. Jesus the Christ showed us HOW to live and fulfill both the spirit and the letter of the Law. Do not think that you are not responsible for obeying the Laws and Prophets, you are. His death on the cross and His atoning Blood did not abrogate the Laws. All cleansing of sin comes from the WORD, which removes our old habits, and teaches us how to walk in the path of Laws. St. Paul, describes this process as “Renewing your mind or as putting on the new Man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Christ”. Christ Jesus said, “take up your cross daily, and follow me; if you love me, keep my commandments; one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law till all be fulfilled”.

There is a law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. This Spirit and Truth is the Christ presence resident in Man, as the Word of God. This is the secret of Man’s keeping of God’s Laws. The in-dwelling Christ is the power to fulfill all Laws. The Christ teaches: “ Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me . . . I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. …He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; … Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.”

“If ye love me, keep my commandments… And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; Even the Spirit of truth. . At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him . . . If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. ..He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings:”

“..But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you . . . Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. . I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. . Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.”

“… I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abides not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.” “… As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. … If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends. …. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.”

The law is given that orderliness and harmony be maintained in the universe. The supreme law is LOVE. Laws are made to maintain peace, tranquility, unity and order. As God is Order, laws are the deductions of God. The Mosaic Law had two components; love for God and love for man. The love towards God is shown by our kindness towards others. As we love one another; all men, without discrimination of any kind; all MEN, according to law, we fulfill the laws of God. St. Paul said: “all the law is fulfilled in one word; LOVE.”

The Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, the very God from eternity; moved out of Divine Love, in Mercy to the human race he made, came and took on Flesh. He fought and conquered the evils, which have held mankind captive since the fall of the Adamic race.By covering His Divinity with Flesh, we are able to see Him, touch Him, and love Him as the Man, Christ Jesus the Lord.By believing that He is the Father, we are able to enter his kingdom (salvation) through obedience to the laws of His Kingdom.Within the kingdom, the process of regeneration or the six days of creation of Man begins. This is a long process; it does take time and effort on the side of Man, whose duty is to seek for the “pearls” of the kingdom, as hidden treasure.

Belief in instantaneous salvation out of order is contrary to reason and contrary to the singular character of God, -justice. That God would impute the sins of others on His Only Righteous Son, and absolve all others who defiantly and consistently break His laws is contrary to Order. God is Law abiding: He is the Law. This belief system has limited the progress of many, who would follow the Blessed Lord. They have come to the knowledge that Christ Jesus is the Savior, but have refused to be saved according to His Way. They do not heed His warning: “Not all that say unto me Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in Heaven.” Abiding in the kingdom of God, is not by confessing with mouth only, but by willing and doing according to the will of God. The commandment of God is that we love one another.

Amen
